Cody Rhodes has cleared that he is currently planning to stay in the WWE for the foreseeable future. The wrestler returned to the company for WrestleMania 38 in 2022. Rhodes made an unexpected comeback, and earlier this year, his contract with the organization expired, with the former Undisputed WWE Champion signing a five-year extension.
With this, Rhodes has also confirmed that this would be his final deal with WWE as an in-ring performer. He also stated that following this, he does not want to continue his professional wrestling career as an in-ring wrestler, which is why he wants to conclude things properly and with WWE only.
In addition to wrestling, Rhodes has recently been involved in several important Hollywood projects. He played a significant role as Guile in the third real-life version of the popular computer game Street Fighter. The wrestler had previously appeared in The Naked Gun as a bartender.
Cody Rhodes has also been linked to additional projects following his big debut with the Street Fighter film. On top of that, Rhodes is now involved in a major storyline with his arch foe Randy Orton.
